Regular article writers and content writers are usually saddled with bulk projects since their articles will be used for SEO or Internet Marketing. Freelance journalists on the other hand have a lot of free time on their hands and can easily accommodate different publications if they want to.

Finding a client can be easy but you need to have excellent networking skills to entice them to hire you as their journalists. Make sure that you have a positive, professional air around you during interview. It would also help to have different sample writings -- both positive and negative news so they can determine your skills for the job.
